Local Houston punk band The American Heist will play a set during half time at Houston Roller Derby's season opener bout this Saturday. In a review for the Houston Press, Rocks Off blogger Craig Hlavaty described their sound as "booze-fueled Springsteen-esque street-punk" that reminds the listener of Mike Ness, Rancid and Hot Water Music.
