- Houston's only WFTDA roller derby league. 2012 games held on the 3rd Saturday of each month at Bayou Place Live (formerly known as Verizon Wireless Theater), 520 Texas Avenue in Downtown Houston. Tickets are cheap ($15 General Admission, $25 VIP). Houston Roller Derby Teams: Bayou City Bosses, Brawlers, Psych Ward Sirens, Valkyries, The Houston All-Stars (all-star travel team), the Knockouts (B-team), and the Machete Betties (Recreational League). Houston Roller Derby is run by the skaters for the skaters- nobody gets paid to play- we only do it for the love of the sport. We've been doin' derby since 2005 and there is no end in sight! Join the roller derby revolution and support your local rollergirls!!!
